NVIDIA has just informed the press that their newest flagship GeForce GTX 780 Ti will arrive in 10 days for the price of $699.

Along with GeForce GTX 780 and GTX 770 price cuts NVIDIA announced that the upcoming GTX 780 Ti will cost $699. I think this pretty much confirms that we are looking at a new flagship, replacing GTX TITAN at a lower price and with better performance.

The GeForce GTX 780 Ti is expected to feature similar specs to GTX TITAN, with the same number of CUDA cores and 6GB memory. Technically we are looking at a faster clocked TITAN, which will finally be available with aftermarket cooling solutions.

The $699 price point is definitely much higher than AMD’s R9 290X. The fact that NVIDIA reduced the price on GTX 780 while announcing new $699 card could only mean that GTX 780 Ti is much faster than both mentioned cards.

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 TI – $699
  • AMD Radeon R9 290X – $549
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 – $499
  • AMD Radeon R9 290 – $449 (tbc)
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 – $399

NVIDIA also announced that everyone who purchases GeForce GTX 780 Ti, GTX 780 and GTX 770 will receive a free copy of: Batman: Arkham Origins, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
