AMD has just released new Catalyst drivers which are fixing the frame pacing issue for CrossFire configurations.
Highly anticipated driver is now available for download. Unfortunately the release notes and the reviews are not yet available.
If you are not aware of the problem this driver is supposed to fix, then head on to my previous post where I try to explain it.
We will update this post as soon as first reviews will be posted. Hopefully we will have good news to you. Of course if you own two Radeon graphics cards make sure to tell us how is this new driver working for you!
- AMD Catalyst 13.8 BETA Desktop (Windows 7/8 32/64-bit)
- AMD Catalyst 13.8 BETA Mobility (Windows 7/8 32/64-bit)
The release notes will be added to our download section.
UPDATE:
As promised it is officially confirmed that the new AMD drivers resolves the frame pacing issue. Here’s an example from PCPerspective (more links of the reviews available here)
