EVGA announced a new GeForce GTX 770 Classified model. The new model is using the same cooler as GTX 680 Classified.

The EVGA GTX 770 (04G-P4-3777-KR) is slightly more expensive than 04G-P4-3778-KR (with ACX cooler). Some people may find this as weird move, since ACX cooler was supposed to be a premium advantage over reference models.

The GTX 770 Classified is clocked at the same speed as the other model. The card is running at 1150 MHz (1202 MHz boost), with a memory clocked at 7GHz. What makes this card special is surely the 4GB memory buffer.

Both Classifieds are currently offered with a free backplate. I am not sure why they won’t just add it to the box. Instead they make it a separate accessory and wait until people will start complaining. Well, it always ends the same way, they add it for free.

According to EVGA’s product manager, the company will soon be offering the GeForce GTX 770 with reference Titan-like cooler, something that was exclusive only for Inno3D.
