ASUS is preparing a new graphics card for Republic of Gamers lineup. The ROG Poseidon is using a hybrid cooling system, one you have never seen before.

The GeForce GTX 770 ROG Poseidon is equipped with a full cover water block, which can be connected with the loop in your system, but that’s not necessary. The card is also using an air DirectCU cooling, without a requirement of the water loop being used. So technically you can use only one cooling solution, or both simultaneusly. The fan itself is quite interesting, looks a lot like the one on GTX 670 Mini. It’s unique design increases the airflow while offering a noise level on acceptable level. There’s an aluminum fin array around the fan, something that was quite popular few years ago. The internals are covered with ROG cooler shroud maintained in black and red colors. ASUS did not reveal anything, besides some basic information, so it’s unclear when will the card be available, and for how much.
