Eurocom benchmarks NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M SLI in Panther 5D – The World’s Fastest Laptop

Published: May 30th 2013, 14:22 GMT

Eurocom has stress tested and benchmarked the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M SLI in the EUROCOM Panther 5D super computer laptop.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M graphics card has 1536 CUDA cores running at 823 MHz with 4 GB GDDR5 memory running at 1250 MHz.

In SLI the two 780M graphics cards offer EUROCOM Panther users up to 8 GB DDR5 video memory, 3072 CUDA cores, 256 TMUs and 64 ROPs.

The addition of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, the highest performance mobile solution from NVIDIA, gives Eurocom customers a superior choice of graphics processor to configure into their new Panther.

Driving the system is the Intel Core i7 3960X Processor Extreme Edition running at up to 3.9 GHz with 15MB of L3 cache, which delivers exceptional high-def multimedia, multi-tasking and multi-threaded performance. It also supports the newest line of Intel Core i7 processors and next generation Intel Xeon Processors. These high-performance CPUs allow users to simultaneously run multiple applications at the same time — all with increased performance. Up to 32GB of superfast DDR3-1600 SODIMM memory is also supported via four channels.

The Panther high performance 3D laptop supports beautiful full high definition 1080p 1920×1080 matte and glossy displays with the option to go with a fast refresh 120 hz panel for 3D operation on the go.

EUROCOM Panther 5D uses quad channel memory, and enables the Panther to support up to 32GB of DDR3 1600MHz RAM via four 8GB SODIMM 204 pin modules.

EUROCOM Panther 5D supports two VGA modules via standard MXM 3.0b interface.

The Panther 5D has support for four Solid State or Enterprise level drives with RAID 0,1,5,10 capability. With support for up to four 1 terabyte storage drives, the Panther is able to offer 4 terabytes of storage. RAID 0,1,5,10 capability gives users the ultimate in performance or redundancy.
