EVGA Teasing ACX Cooler for GeForce 700 Series

Published: May 16th 2013, 10:53 GMT

Every major graphics cards manufacturer has its special line of products with custom cooling solutions. Although EVGA had a custom cooler for GeForce 600 series, it was never considered fancy and as efficient as others’. Thankfully, this will change.

EVGA has uploaded a short teaser showing a new cooler with dual-fan solution. The new system would be called Active Cooling Xtreme (ACX) and it would be used for GeForce 700 series, probably for GTX 770 at first. Is this a DirectCU, TwinFrozr, JetStream and WindForce killer? Time will tell.

How do we know this cooler is for GeForce 700 series? Well, first off, we have a date – 05.23.13, which is the day of the GeForce 780 announcement. There’s also a hidden information, which required some photoshop work (yeah that’s 700 series)
