Zalman seems to be entering graphics card with a slow pace, however some of their cards are very unique. A manufacturer known for various cooling solutions has just introduced a brand new GeForce GTX 660 graphics card.

The Zalman GTX 660 DS 2GB VF1500 is a reference based graphics card with a custom dual-fan cooler. A quick glimpse at the design suggests that it requires at least two and a half slots on the motherboard (yeah, it’s quite a massive card). Since it is based on the the reference board, Zalman did not use factory-overclocking. So the card received the stock 980/1033 MHz GPU clock with the memory clocked at 6 GHz. This card comes with 2GB of GDDR5 memory and is equipped with a default set of outputs: two DVI’s, HDMI and DisplayPort.

As for the cooler, it has two 92 mm fans and four aluminum heat pipes. There’s a large aluminum heat sink array over the board.

The Zalman GTX 660 DS 2GB VF1500 is available for people living in Asia and Pacific regions. According to the source, Zalman is also preparing GeForce GTX 670 and a Radeon HD 7950 with the VF1500 cooler.
