As you can see we have talked about software ranging from simple registry tweaks (Coolbits) all the way to software as powerful as RivaTuner. I believe having the opportunity to talk to Alexey really added something unique to this article. I learned things myself when I received the response and I was really excited to have the real creator of Afterburner and Precision X, RivaTuner, featured. I hope this article will help some people decide amongst one versus another OCing application, or maybe tell you why to stay away from one. I personally run the same as Alexey, MSI Afterburner is my app of choice when it comes to tweaking/overclocking my card. Personally I have a GTX 480 from EVGA with a Zalman VF3000F cooler and my best Furmark run was at 910/1820/4000, so you can decide for yourself what to go with. Good luck and make sure to keep that hardware as cool as possible when overclocking or you’ll never get the true potential. Stay tuned to VC for my next review/article, Keith.
