Powercolor's dual HD 7970 Devil 13 coming soon
PowerColor has showcased their dual Tahiti-based card back in June, during the Computex event. It was described as the fastest card on the market.

After Computex there were some rumors about the release date of this card. People, who were expecting it, soon realized that the card was only paper launched. AMD did not reveal their HD 7990 so far, so we thought that this card might at least feel the gap in super high-end cards, where AMD has currently nothing to offer. Well it seems that our prayer were answered.

According to Fudzilla, PowerColor will release the new Devil 13 in the next few weeks. What is also said is that card will receive a new design, meaning that what we saw was not the final look.

Additionally Fudzilla managed to confirm few details about the clocks. It looks like it’s a very interesting construction, because it will feature clocks of 925MHz or 1000Mhz (in second mode). The second mode is available after switching to the other BIOS. We were obviously expecting a lower clock than reference HD 7970. The memory clock is reported at 1375 MHz.

I hope this card will not end up like Toxic 6GB.

Thanks Nigel for a tip.
