The first US price, and therefore a possible MSRP of reference GeForce GTX 660 Ti has been found online.
Thanks to our reader Johan90s, we have the launch price of GeForce GTX 660 Ti. Card from PNY is listed for $299. From the listing we learn that card will use PCI-Express 3.0 interface, 2GB of GDDR5 memory and will be equipped with two DVI’s, one HDMI and DisplayPort. PNY is known for releasing reference based graphics cards, so this is most likely a full reference designed model.
There’s a lot of discussion about possible launch price of this mid-range graphics card. We all know that Radeon HD 7950, which is available for $350 is in fact, a better product. Also overclocking potential of both cards still gives more credit to HD 7950. I’m really looking forward to seeing first SLI reviews of this card and how does it compare to the performance of CrossFire configurations.
Card is also available in other store for $349.99. Card will be released on August 16th.
Here’s one of the latest leaked charts suggesting how releasing GTX 660 Ti will affect NVIDIA’s reputation.
