EK introduces EK-FC690 GTX and EK-FC670 GTX | EKWaterBlocks
EK-FC670 GTX and EK-FC690 GTX are both high performance full-cover water block for nVidia reference design (GeForce GTX 670 and GeForce GTX 690 respectively) series graphics card.

These two water block directly cool the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it’s VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC670 GTX water block also features a very high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps while it’s bigger brother. Due to it’s dimensions and engineering limits the EK-FC690 GTX is more restrictive than it’s smaller brother but is nontheless still a high flow water block and multiple water blocks can be driven off a single low-power pump.

Cold-plate (base) is made of electrolytic copper (bare or nickel-plated) while the top is made of quality cast, satin finished acrylic or flat POM Acetal material. The sealing is performed by quality rubber washers. Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe, painless installation procedure. Water blocks are mounted with enclosed M3x4 DIN7985 screws and washers. The design allows any G1/4″ threaded opening to be used as inlet or outlet.

Both water blocks are already available in pre-order in EK Webshop. The water blocks will be readily availabile on June 27th (EK-FC670 GTX) and June 29th (EK-FC690 GTX).

EKWB has developed a new Full-Cover water block for reference design AMD Radeon HD 7870 graphics card.

This water block directly cools the GPU and RAM as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it’s VRM (passively cooled) to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC7870 water block again features a very high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

Base is made of nickel plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal or satin finish acrylic material. The sealing is performed by quality rubber washers. Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe, painless installation procedure. Block is mounted with enclosed M3x4 DIN7985 screws.

Up to four EK-FC7870 series water block can be interconnected with EK-FC Bridge & Link system. The correct connection link for this water block is EK-FC Link.

Enclosed:

  • EK-FC7870 series water block
  • mounting mechanism with screw-in brass standoffs
  • thermal pads
