Official GeForce GTX 640 release is very close. Galaxy already lists this new card, while Gainward’s and Gigabyte’s cards were found by ArabPCWorld. It’s kind of odd, that only manufacturers starting from letter G have presented their cards.
Most of the cards are based on Kepler GK107 GPU, which has 384 CUDA cores. Cards are equipped with various memory configurations including GDDR3 and GDDR5 memory. So far, all of them feature 128-bit memory bus. It looks like default core clock is set to 900 MHz, and we have a first factory-overclocked card in a pack. New GeForce GT 640 card will be available for a starting price of $100.
