ZOTAC is preparing three cards for today’s launch, including GTX 670 reference based card, one based on GTX 680 (PCB and cooler) and the most powerful card for enthusiasts GTX 670 Extreme Edition.
ZOTAC adds three cards to its lineup, every card is slightly different. The 670-2GD5 Extreme Edition features full length PCB with large dual fan cooler, which is 2cm higher than reference one. ZOTAC claims that this cooling solution will provide up to 38% better cooling performance. This model is also equipped with OC+ overclocking module. Card requires 8+6 pin power connectors. Card has default set of display outputs. ZOTAC decided to equip this model with additional backplate. Card is set to 1100 MHz base clock and 1202 MHz boost clock. Memory is overclocked to 6600 MHz.
Next model 670-2GD5 Fast Edition is based on GTX 680 design, has it’s long PCB and cooler. Features standard clocks of 915/1058/6008 MHz. PCB is designed with 4+2 Phase PWM and some quality components. Maximum power draw should not exceed 170W on this one.
The last one is pure reference card with 915/980/6008 MHz clocks. This model is also featuring 4+2 phase design.
There are also two models listed online, including ZOTAC GTX 670 AMP! 2GB (the last picture) and the model with 4GB of memory.
