Faster Radeon 7970 SKU possible
Since Radeon HD 7970 is a very fast graphics card and its overclocking capabilities are even better, AMD may prepare a new SKU for their flagship model.

According to Fudzilla, AMD may already be working on updated PCB for new Radeon. As we learned this week, Kepler will not be released until second quarter. AMD may have a chance to boost their sales by releasing even better Radeon HD 7970 when Kepler will be officially available.

Reference model of AMD Radeon HD 7970 can easily reach a gpu clock at 1000MHz. Software or hardware mod can give you extra 200 MHz. Upgrading cooling system would probably make these numbers even higher. AMD Partners know that, and are preparing multiple HD7970 card with a non-reference cooling systems and increased clocks.

AMD has not confirmed if new Radeon HD 7970 is being prepared.
