It is four days till AMD releases their new Radeon HD 7970 graphics card on annual CES gadget-fest in Las Vegas. But AMD has prepared another card even before the event.
If you remember Radeon HD 6670 graphics card, then you should probably stop reading this post at this point. AMD has rebranded HD 6670 to HD 7670, making it the same graphics card, with no changes, beside releasing it only to OEMs. Radeon HD 7670 will be mounted in HP desktops.
Radeon HD 7670 features 480 stream processors, 24 texture and 8 raster operating units. Card has 128 bit bus width for GDDR5 memory with a capacity of 0.5 or 1GB. GPU is clocked at 800 MHz and 4000 MHz for memory.
