1GB Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 gets listed | TechConnect Magazine
Confirming recent rumors, multiple stores in Europe have put up for ore-order a Radeon HD 6950 card that boasts 1GB of memory. The 1GB offering comes from Sapphire, has stock clocks – 800 MHz for the GPU, 5000 MHz for the GDDR5 VRAM, and is likely based on AMD’s reference design.

Sapphire’s card features 1408 Stream Processors, CrossFireX support, dual-DVI, HDMI and dual mini DisplayPort outputs and has a price tag only about €5 under that of 2GB models – €242.52. Hopefully by the time it becomes available, the 1GB Radeon HD 6950 will drop in price some more.
