ZOTAC International, a leading innovator and the world’s largest channel manufacturer of graphics cards, motherboards and mini-PCs, today takes NVIDIA Fermi architecture mainstream with the new GeForce GTS 450 series. The new ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 series is the perfect companion for gamers looking to upgrade to Microsoft DirectX 11-class graphics while gaining performance in existing DirectX 10 titles.

The new ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 series takes 192 unified shaders and pairs it with 1GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory for lightning-fast performance in the latest game titles. A wide 128-bit wide memory interface connects the memory to the graphics processor for high-quality textures and details in the latest games and applications.

The ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 series takes immersive gaming to the next level with NVIDIA PhysX technology for realistic physics effects and NVIDIA 3D Vision readiness for stereoscopic 3D effects when paired with 3D monitors and high-definition televisions.

“Mainstream gamers deserve the best performance and features available. With the new ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 series, we’re able to deliver excellent performance, phenomenal visuals in DirectX 11 and 10 titles, and outstanding features at a very attractive price,” said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International.

For enthusiast users the ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 AMP! Edition delivers greater performance with additional tuning for higher engine, memory and shader clock speeds to give gamers an extra edge in gaming. The ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 AMP! Edition goes beyond the standard design and packs dual dual-link DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort for flexible connectivity to displays, and an exclusive cooling solution for enhanced cooling performance and unique looks.

“ZOTAC is always pushing the performance envelope and while the NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 GPU delivers superb stock performance, we were able to add a lot more performance without sacrificing stability our longterm reliability with the ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 and GeForce GTS 450 AMP! Edition,” Mr. Berger added.

Up to Two ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 series can be installed in the same system with NVIDIA SLI technology to deliver up to twice as much graphics-crunching power when more performance is desired.

The ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 series go beyond gaming and equipped with home theatre PC-friendly features including hardware video decode acceleration for high-definition video, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio bitstreaming support and HDMI 1.4a support. Adobe Flash HD video acceleration enables the ZOTAC GeForce GTS 450 series to render streaming Internet video flawlessly for smooth playback of popular video websites such as Vimeo and YouTube.
