Sapphire places on the Polish market products targeted at mainstream segment – 512MB of GDDR3 HD 4550 and HD 4350 512MB DDR2. These cards are based on the architecture of the very successful series of graphics cards HD 4000 Sapphire Radeon HD 4550 has 80 stream processors and 512 MB of GDDR3 memory. Taktujący GPU clock frequency is 600 MHz, and memory – 900 MHz (1800 MHz effective). Card has a DVI monitor outputs and D-Sub, TV-OUT connector and HDMI (via an adapter is included).

The graphics card Sapphire Radeon HD 4350 has the same architecture as HD 4550 – is also equipped with 80 stream processors and taktujący core clock frequency of 600 MHz. The difference is in the measurement of memory – in order to lower the price of the card using 512 MB of DDR2 memory working at 400 MHz (800 MHz effective).

Both devices use the PCI Express bus with 2.0 and have CrossFireX connectors, allowing you to connect with each other two cards, in compatible motherboards, in order to obtain higher yields. A new series of graphics processor Radeon HD 4000 has the latest technology from ATI stables – unified stream processors, improved memory management and the second generation of high definition video decoder.

Charter HD 4000 series are also equipped with the latest ATI Avivo HD technology in order to improve the image quality and significantly reduce the CPU when watching HD movies, whether stored on Blu-ray discs, as well as those embodied in the HD DVD discs, encoded in all available formats in the market.

Graphics cards from Sapphire HD 4000 series have a certificate of Microsoft Windows Vista Premium. They are supported by ATI Catalyst software package, providing easy and regular update, which improves productivity and stability of the system. As with the previous generation of graphics cards with HD 4000 series support DirectX 10.1 – essential to increase the efficiency of rendering 3D scenes and shadows.

Suggested retail price of graphics cards Sapphire HD 4550 is 175 zloty. Price graphics card Sapphire HD 4350 will be disclosed in the second half of October, when the card will appear on store shelves. Both cards are covered by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.
