NVIDIA finally given an official name for future graphics cards based on the chips GT200. Slower version will be branded as GeForce GTX 260, while the faster will be baptized name GeForce GTX 280 We know more about the premiere of the new card – it has to be between 16 and 20 June 2008.

The names, which speculated previously, namely GeForce 9900 GT and 9900 GTX is likely to depart in the same nonentity. On the occasion of the premiere of new chips and NVIDIA really decided to change the naming express graphics cards.

Update: We know already that the Prime Minister GTX 280 will be held on 18 June.
