Radeon X2 also on a laptop

ATI plans to introduce a dual graphics cards to notebook PCs. This will be the Mobility Radeon HD 3850 X2, consisting of two RV670 chips. Performance of this duo has to be so high that przegonią competitive NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX. What’s more, the card will be sold in the MXM format, which means that it will be convertible (worse, that it will fit you to more expensive notebooks, but rather cards, no one will want to use in low-endowych models).

I wonder whether two cores will not be too strongly affect the length of action for notebook batteries. However, due to a number of energy-saving technologies that reduce strong when the chips are not burdened, should not be so wrong with that.
