AMD Never Settle Reloaded Arrives with Tomb Rider, Crysis 3 and Bioshock Infinite

AMD Never Settle Reloaded Arrives with Tomb Rider, Crysis 3 and Bioshock Infinite radeon 7000 amd

Nice advertisement isn’t it? Few months ago AMD announced a promotion called Never Settle, which was an offer of free games added to certain graphics cards depending on the segment. It seems that the new Never Settle is even more amazing, since it comes with highly anticipated titles.

The first game to be added for free is Tomb Rider, which due to March 5th. In the APAC region a Devil May Cry will be offered instead of the Tomb Rider. If you are a true fan of Lara Croft, then all you need to do is get Radeon HD 7900 or HD 7800 series card.

Furthermore there are two other games, both expected to be the hits. Bioshock Infinite, a successor of the two previous games from the franchise will also be added for free. If that doesn’t make you convinced enough, then what about a Crysis 3, also bundled to Radeon HD 7900 and 7800 series.

So to sum up. If you buy Radeon HD 7970 or HD 7950 you will receive Crysis 3 and Bioshock Infinite for free. On the other hand if you decide to purchase any Radeon HD 7800 series card (HD 7870, HD 7850, HD 7870 XT), then you will get Bioshock and Tomb Rider for free. But there’s more, if you buy two HD 7900 series cards you will receive $300 worth keys for: Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Rider, Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution and Sleeping Dogs.

So what stores participate in this promotion? All prominent etailers, including Newegg. The free game coupons will be added to the box when your order will be processed. All those unreleased titles can be added through Origin account.

There is a special site for this event, which is not yet live.

What do you guys think of this offer?

6 Free games with 2 HD7900s? I guess it pays to wait. I got no games with mine :(

This bundle tells me HD8000 series is probably not close to launch. If AMD was ready to launch HD8000 series soon, then they would just start dropping prices on HD7900 cards to clear out inventory.

Glad to see AMD adding more value for those who still haven’t upgraded. GTX680 at $450-500 sound way overpriced now. Something in the form of two Gigabyte/Sapphire HD7950s and at 1100mhz in CrossFire will give 90-95% of the performance of a GTX690 / GTX680 SLI for $560-600.

Looking at the last year results Never Settle haven’t helped AMD.

  • hey

Because Never Settle bundle games are not good for PC except for Hitman and Far Cry 3. And we know that Nvidia has still some more populer games for PC, as AC3, Borderlands 2, Diablo 3…

Preferences, I prefer Torchlight to Diablo, hate Borderlands, and AC series is kinda meh. More excited for some of the AMD title games. Though, this is honestly just preference.

AC3 = very poor graphics, very unoptimized in terms of performance considering the crap graphics too.
Diablo 3 = plays on a $100 videocard maxed out.
Black Ops 2 = console port with crappy graphics, can be maxed out on an HD6850/GTX560.

AMD completely blew NV away in terms of working with developers last year. Borderlands 2 was the only game that was worth it on the TWIMTP side.

Not true. Hardware Canucks ran a story that during the holiday HD7970 was at one point outselling GTX680. While the overall sales of 680s were higher than HD7970, instead of NV outselling AMD like 4 or 5:1 it was probably closer to 2:1.
