Radeons speeding up in … Adobe applications!

At the end of September we informed you about the support offered by nVidia graphics chips for applications from Adobe. It is the hardware acceleration from the GPU NVIDIA Quadro professional and popular GeForce. In the background including the premiere the latest version of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, we learned that nVidia’s graphics processors will be hardware-assisted processes carried out by the latest Adobe software.

nVidia can reliably offer mix of hardware acceleration in such powerful tools as Adobe Premiere CS4 or Photoshop CS4. Not now known that the struggle in the field of professional use is of the utmost importance, even for the producers strongly associated mainstream.

It turns out that ATI did not miss important moment and without much publicity has made quite surprising information. First, the GPU series Radeon cards will assist the majority of computing performance at work in Adobe applications. Secondly, in contrast to nVidia, in Adobe Premiere (video editing and assembly) you have a Radeon HD 4000 or 3000, rather than more expensive solution such as the nVidia Quadro.

Thus, users not only the new Radeon will be able to make the case CS4 Adobe Premiere, After Effects CS4 quickly edit (transition effects, 3D effects, etc.) and process the video. Also in the case of Adobe Photoshop Radeon recognized in a series of 3xxx and 4xxx will push for a faster race. From simple to sophisticated image editing, GPU from ATI is to assist the main processor and accelerate the calculation. However, the final outcome is, of course, faster results of our work.
