PR | ZOTAC Introduces New GeForce® GTX 660 and GeForce® GTX 650 Series

HONG KONG – Sept. 13, 2012 – ZOTAC International, a global innovator and manufacturer of graphics cards, mainboards and mini-PCs, today introduces the new GeForce® GTX 660 and GeForce® GTX 650 series for gamers and multimedia enthusiasts. The new ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 660 and GeForce® GTX 650 series enable gamers to enjoy the latest Microsoft® DirectX® 11-based titles at high-definition resolutions of 1080p for a fantastic gaming experience.

“High-definition 1080p LCD monitors are becoming mainstream. When paired with our latest ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 660 or GeForce® GTX 650 series it creates an unbeatable combination for stunning visual quality, performance and value for gamers,” said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International. “
The ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 660 and GeForce® GTX 650 series introduce new features to the product-class with new NVIDIA® Surround technology that enables triple-display gaming capabilities and NVENC encoding instructions that quickly accelerate video processing tasks. Combined, the new NVIDIA® Surround and NVENC features enable gamers to experience unmatched immersion yet use the graphics cards to speed up video transcoding tasks to quickly convert videos for use on portable media devices when not gaming.
“NVIDIA® NVENC video-transcoding capabilities is an awesome technology in our ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 660 and GeForce® GTX 650 series. In the age of mobile media playback devices such as smartphones and hand-held game consoles, being able to leverage the power of graphics processing to convert video formats for portable consumption, we’re able to deliver much faster performance than typical CPU transcoding,” Mr. Berger added.
Gamers seeking a performance kick can select the ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 660 or ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 660 AMP!
