Galaxy GeForce GTX 660Ti 2GB GC Pictured and Detailed

Galaxy’s card has been updated with a new cooler. While GTX 670 and GTX 680 have similar ones, this has a new version, which looks more futuristic.
The heatsink is identical, also the heatpipes are in the same number and placed the same way. It looks like Galaxy only refreshed the cooler shroud, which is kept in silver color.
Card is featuring a factory-overclocked clocks of 1006/1084/6008 MHz for base, boost and memory, most of the non-overclocked models featured such clocks.
We know that MSI’S GTX 660 Ti Power Edition will feature a TDP up to 190W. But if we compare this to Galaxy’s 225W power consumption, we can guess which card is more powerful. It does also feature 5+2 phase power design (same as MSI’s PE). Galaxy took care of the power section, by providing an additional heatsink to cover it.
The PCB itself looks very interesting. It has been divided into two modules, where the primary is more like a reference card, and the additional board delivers all the juicy stuff for overclocking. This includes more powerful power section and 6+8 power connectors.
What’s more, it comes in variants 2GB or 3GB of memory, divided into 8 or 12 Hynix chips. These are all GDDR5 modules with a memory latency of 0.3 ns.
Galaxy provided the slides with a overclocking performance, where it beats the GTX 670. There’s also a gaming performance chart, where GTX 660 Ti only lost in Aliens vs Predator. These charts show how overclocking can increase the maximum performance. But we better off wait for more valid reviews to compare how it performs.
Card is equipped with default display outputs: two DVI’s, one HDMI and DisplayPort. Galaxy GTX 660 Ti GC 2GB offered for $350, while the 3GB version is not yet detailed.
