XFX Radeon HD 7950 Black Edition 3GB Review @ TweakTown

Over the coming months we’re going to see more and more video cards launch from both AMD and NVIDIA. A bit like the HD 6000 series, AMD again find themselves coming to the market earlier than NVIDIA and today we see the second model with in the new HD 7000 series launch.
We are already impressed with what the HD 7970 can do by itself, overclocked, in a pair, in a pair overclocked and running in a trio. Starting at round $550 US and going as high as $1,800 US depending on the brand you buy, the HD 7970, or these setups might not be the one for you.
Like the HD 6950, we hope today that the AMD Radeon HD 7950 comes in at that same strong price point and performance level that makes it such an attractive option for people who want some serious GPU power, but don’t want to quite spend the money that’s associated with buying the highest end single GPU offering.
