AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series Specification Leaked

AMD’s anticipated 28nm Radeon HD 7000 Series is now on the eyes of many. Althouth we should expect newest Radeons in first quarter of 2012, we are facing more and more leaked information every day in December.
AMD is to host a press conference on 5h December in London about their newest Next Gen GNC Core Architecture. However, a few leaked details have already surfaced.
Radeon HD 7970 (Tahiti XT) (Click for deatils)
Tahiti XT is based on 28nm gpu, which will be the fastest single core graphics card ever released by AMD. It will be equipped with 2048 Shader Processors (32 Compute Units). Textures will be processed by 128 cores. A Default core clock is to be set at 1GHz. It will surely use 1.37GHz (5.5GHz) of GDDR5 memory, probably 3GB of RAM. The memory bandwidth will be increased significantly compared to previous generation – it will process up to 264 GB/s. The price will be set at $449.
Radeon HD 7950 (Tahiti Pro) (Click for deatils)
Tahiti Pro will support up to 1920 Shader Processors (30 Compute Units). Texture units are set to 120. Core clock is to be set at 900MHz. Memory will probably use 384bit bus clocked at 1250MHz (5GHz effective). Memory bandwidth could reach up to 240 GB/s. Price is to be set at $349.
Both Tahiti cards would be released during CES 2012 Event in Las Vegas, which takes place from 10 to 13 January.
Radeon HD 7990 (New Zeeland) (Click for deatils)
World’s fastest graphic card will use two Tahiti based gpus. It should be equipped with 6GB of RAM. The price of this demon should not exceed more than $699. It should be released in March 2012.
We should expect some ‘leaked’ information about upcoming NVIDIA cards soon.
