Zotac AMP! GeForce GTX 550 Ti, GTX 560, GTX 590 Review @ iXBTLabs

iXBT Labs - Zotac AMP! GeForce GTX 550 Ti, AMP! GeForce GTX 560, GeForce GTX 590 Graphics Cards - Page 1: Intro, specs, design
Although we have already reviewed GeForce GTX 590, we haven’t yet had a chance to test it in SLI mode. Well, that’s what we’ll do today. We shall also take a look at factory overclocked GTX 550 Ti and GTX 560 from the same company.

While the GTX 590 is a copy of the reference design, the other two, GTX 560 and GTX 550 Ti, are custom products which have shorter PCBs and improved power supply units to support considerable factory overclocking.

Maximum resolutions and frequencies:

  • 240 Hz maximum refresh rate
  • 2560 x 1600 @ 60Hz max. digital (DVI) resolution
  • 2048 x 1536 @ 85Hz max. analog (VGA) resolution

Speaking of supplementary power connectors, the GTX 560 has two 6-pin, the GTX 590 has two 8-pin, and the GTX 550 Ti has one 6-pin connector.
