ATI Radeon HD 2900 GT
Concern ATI without much publicity, presented its new chip Radeon HD 2900 GT. The new ATI GPU is the answer to a recent premiere NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT. Bone is made up from 700 million transistors and is manufactured in 80 nm process technology. Radeon HD 2900 GT has a 256-bit (4-channels) of GDDR3 memory interface (like 8800 GT) and 240 units of the pipeline (stream processing units). It is also naturally fully compatible with DirectX 10 and similarly, as her older sister (2900 Pro and XT) is an integrated 5.1 sound card with support for HDCP.
As far as the speed of individual components on the card Radeon HD 2900 GT, the very strong chip clock is 600 MHz, while the frequency of working memory is effectively 1,600 MHz (GDDR3). Until now the announcement of its use in graphics cards announced only concern Sapphire. You do not know anything about either price or the date of entry into the market for new cards.
