Sapphire Radeon HD 4770 – economic low-performance card

SAPPHIRE present the first graphics card manufactured in 40nm process technology – HD 4770. After the premiere efficient HD 4890 graphics card at high-end segment presents a new SAPPHIRE HD 4770 graphics card for the mainstream market.

Not used by the ATI process in the manufacture of graphics cards was 55nm. Going to 40nm reduces the amount of current consumption, and thus the possibility of achieving a higher graphics core clock frequency and less heat. The maximum amount of energy collected by the HD 4770 is 80 W, but is usually less due to the dynamic power management.

Graphics Card SAPPHIRE HD 4770 is equipped with 640 stream processors (two times more than its predecessor with an average shelf price) operating at a speed of 750 MHz and uses 512 MB of high-speed GDDR5 memory, clocked at effective speed of 3200 MHz. This translates into 960 gigaflops power and memory bandwidth around 51.2 GB / s.

The new card has the SAPPHIRE dwuslotowy cooling system, and two DVI connectors and TV-Out output from the HDMI connector on an adapter located in the set.

HD 4770 graphics card to fully enjoy the benefits of DirectX 10.1 technology to raise the image quality and performance of supported games. The list of these games is growing day by day. In addition to titles, which had its premiere last – Battleforge, Stalker: Clear Sky, Stormrise, and Tom Clancy’s HAWX in production are still Unigine – Tropics and Cloud9.

SAPPHIRE is making further models based on the HD 4770 chipset within the next few weeks. Suggested retail price of the graphics card SAPPHIRE HD 4770 is 425 PLN. Card is subject to a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.
