Modified Radeon HD 4890 from Asus – new reports
Some time ago I know that Asus plans to release unreferenced version of Radeon HD 4890 card, which was to be completely rebuilt section of the power supply.
As already mentioned earlier the main difference is the use of high-density capacitors ML Fujitsu, which are far from smaller standard MLCC capacitors and OSCON. Thanks to the supplied voltage should be less noise, and also be more stable. According to initial information, Asus has managed to reduce the peripheral voltage 114mV to 143mV, which is a decrease of approximately 20%.
The new power is not all the changes made, the card will be equipped with the new red cooler with two fans, which are supported by a copper base and six at the GPU 23 centimeter copper heat pipes, which lowers the temperature of 10 ⁰ C in comparison to the standard cooling.
Likely to be the best ‘podkręcalna’ new Radeon series in the market, where the achievement of 1GHz and more on the core will not account for as much as such a large wyczynu, but the price has not been determined yet, so hopefully that will not be too sluice-gate.
