AMD / ATI will be the first manufacturer to introduce to the market that uses graphic accelerator processor manufactured in 40 nm process technology. This accelerator will be Radeon HD 4770 based on RV740 chip and uses GDDR5 memory. All reports point out that this graphics card quite far ahead in terms of performance of its competitor from the stable of nVidia GeForce 9800 GT.

Also in terms of price should be better – Radeon HD 4770 is likely to be more affordable than the 9800 GT. Current price of the latter varies in the range of 119 to 139 $. Depending on the price of the new Radeon nVidia will be able to slightly reduce the price of its accelerator. Despite the price reductions are a GeForce-4770 in favor of HD by many aspects such as lower energy consumption of electricity – and thus less heat, the GDDR5 modules, which need a lot of work to lower-voltage power supply.

All doubts will be dispelled immediately after the premiere. It remains only to wait.
