G92 also in notebooks
Do not go yet desktop graphics cards based on G92 chip (their prime minister on Monday), and it has come słuchy the imminent release of their notebookowych version. GeForce 8800M GTX, because it is called the chip will be offered in configurations with 256 and 512 MB of graphics memory. We’ll see it in the form of papers MXM (Mobile PCI Express Module) card. Interestingly, the new bone will have a power rating (TDP) of 35W – will be achieved through lower Pixel clock clock on their desktop users and additional features to save energy.
8800M GTX is a great solution, replacing the increasingly obsolete GeForce 7950 GTX SLI. Bioshock on the notebook without the need for drastically reducing the number of elements? Coming soon should be possible. That all the remains to wait for 19 November, when the new chip should appear on the market – although excepted, that no such date is officially confirmed.
