GeCube Graphics’ Gemini ‘with two chips Radeon HD 2600 XT
Infothek Corporation, to which should be known company GeCube, announced the premiere of the new graphics cards Gemini 3 with two chips ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT on board. This product is competitive to compete with NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS. Two graphics processors will provide a new card for a large supply of power, but rather used in the free memory (DDR2 1 GHz) will be a significant reduction in capacity. GeCube has opted for this solution, in addition to price and not enlarge the already relatively expensive card – dwuchipowe graphics are a relatively expensive in production.
As for the exact technical specifications, GeCube Gemini 3 (GC-D26XT2-F5) is equipped with two processors, the ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT (RV630), strong clock 800 MHz each and 512 (at 256 MB per GPU) or 1 GB ( after 512 per GPU) of DDR2 memory, 1 GHz clock taktowanej. Card supports four dual-link DVI, also supports HDCP technology.
GeCube does not mention as to whether the new cards will be able to operate in all motherboards with slots PCI-Express x16, or compatibility will be limited to those supporting multi-GPU support. He declares, however, that when only the drivers and motherboards will be available, the Gemini 3 cards will be able to work in pairs (a total of 4 GPU), which further increase their productivity.
Gemini 3 with 512 MB of memory will be available for 259 U.S. dollars and the cost is 1 GB version will be 279 dollars.
