New video card S3 Chrome 540 GTX
S3 expands its offerings 5xx Chrome graphics cards, which appeared on the market in November 2008. Attach to it the fastest model in the series, Chrome 540 GTX.
S3 Chrome 540 GTX in contrast to the other 5xx, which are sold as a low-profile versions, is a full graphics card. It is designed for PCI-Express x16 slot (also supports version 2.0 of this standard). It has DVI outputs, HDMI, and DisplayPort, compatible with HDCP.
On board, the card is cooled with a fan. The GPU is set to 800 MHz and 256 MB of 64-bit GDDR3 memory (also set to clock 800 MHz). The processor has an integrated graphics engine ChromotionHD 2.0 to support hardware video decoding H.264, VC-1, WMV-HD, MPEG2 HD, Blu-ray and HD DVD.

GTX 540 is compatible with DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.0. In terms of performance in games, there will be high – after the S3 card is expected to be between the Radeon HD 4350 and HD 4550.
Chrome 540 GTX should be available in stores for the price of 69.95 dollars. For some time, the manufacturer will attach to it, WinDVD 8 software
