Microsoft ‘repaired’ SLI and CrossFire under Vist

In recent months towards NVIDIA and ATI sypały the thunder from podirytowanych members, who were unable to effectively use two graphics cards in SLI or CrossFire mode in Windows Vista.

As it turned out, those responsible for the drivers, teams of developers in both companies were not the only guilty of the situation. It turned out that their participation is also Microsoft. Due to an error in the code, Windows Vista does not provide the graphical instructions to the driver for the second GPU. As a result of two cards in an SLI or CrossFire acted with similar speed, every one.

It seems likely therefore to have drivers coming soon to video cards to Visty will be able to achieve the same level of functionality as those from XP. It remains to wait for the larger number of titles that use DirectX 10, which would give a solid reason to finally install the latest operating system.
