Radeon HD 2900 XT 1GB from Diamond Multimedia
Diamond Multimedia, a company that once was one of the best producers of graphics cards and multimedia equipment, is going back on the market with the latest graphics akceleratorami. Their flagship product will be the world’s first ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT with 1GB memory. But the question is whether the new cards will be widely available for all users?
The graphics card ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT is equipped with 1GB memory uses the same plate (PCBs), which is used in 512 MB versions, but it uses more advanced systems GDDR4 with a larger capacity.
Diamond Multimedia says that, in its graphics card Viper ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT 1GB, increased frequency timing clock layout and memory to 825MHz and 2100MHz. These are the higher frequency than those recommended by ATI.
However, some graphics cards produced by Diamond will be strong for frequencies of 742MHz and 2000MHz for graphic memory.
Earlier, sources close to AMD stated that the graphics systems manufacturer does not intend to promote platelet 1GB graphics cards powered by graphics chip, code named for the ATI R600. Nevertheless, the company allows its partners to configure their products based on the ATI Radeon agreements according to their needs.
Graphics cards Diamond Viper Radeon HD 2900 XT 1GB will be available only with the elected representatives. So far not revealed when they appear on the market, nor what will be their price.
